FTTP or Fiber to the Premise is starting up around the USA thanks to Verizon. Word on the street is that Verizon is beginning to deploy their FIOS Fiber Optic Service in very select locales. Prices range from $40/mo for 5/2 Mbps to $50 for 15/2 Mbps to $200/mo for 30/5 Mbps. Free installation where available and free 30-day trial.
