Ok it has been a while since we had feedback on events here so here are my 2c...
Fergie only spun a 2h set and started at 2:00am which was somewhat on a disappointment for me yet one remix he played 15 mins into his set just took me back to early 90s and was worth it all! It was a remix of 'Celebration' with a very hard dark beat in the background and he made my day. I'd love to know what other D3 people thought of his set if anyone else went since i loved it :)

I've been a Fergie fan since I heard his Essential Mix a few years ago. Something about hard house just makes me want to dance. He always throws down a good mix of older tracks that bring back memories of the good old days.
Anyway... I agree, the set started a little late. By 2 I was starting to feel a little tired (maybe it was from being in the sun all day... maybe I'm just old). Fergie was out drinking and socializing with the crowd for a while before he went on. It's always cool to see djs hanging out before or after their set. His set got people movin and he seemed to be having a good time. Plenty of dj attitude (this is a good thing in his case). I was exhausted so I didn't stay for the whole set, but what I heard was definitely some great hard house.
The crowd was an interesting mix. For some reason people kept coming up to me thinking I was someone they knew. Also, there were quite a few bachelorette parties... apparently they thought they would find male strippers at Spundae. As always, there were also the resident undercover agents who stood out like 60 year olds in a kindergarten class. Ahh the genius of the govt... but I won't get started on that.
