Seagate sux. I had 2 of their crap drives die on me. Lost everything  Angry There support people didn't seem to care. Be sure to return the drive fast cuz they charged me and then had to deal with that 2.  NEVER buy seagate even if its free cuz you'll just lose your stuff.

Ok, I got the new drive and it is a POS too! Now I wasted the money to courier back the other drive and the new drive is just as bad if not worse.  In case you are wondering, it is the 160GB 7200.7 model#ST3160023A.  Avoid this crap drive at all costs... even if you get it for free, stay clear because it will drive you nuts within a week and you will have to waste the time to transfer your data to another drive.
